The editor-in-chief for the Mace and Crown publication and a sophomore journalism student at Old Dominion University, Justice Menzel speaks on the show about his complex relationship with college and how he came to terms with where he is. He also speaks about how he created his internationally-distributed film, "Melting Point," right out of high school, and spark it provided him towards his personal creativity and expression.

Justice Menzel is a sophomore English major at Old Dominion University. A lifelong creative, he found a passion in high school for journalism, fiction writing, and filmmaking. After beginning his tenure at ODU, he received a position as Assistant News Editor at the Mace & Crown. After a semester as News Editor, he was elected Editor in Chief in early 2023. He directed a feature documentary, "Melting Point," on misogyny and radicalization, which received festival accolades and distinction. His opinion pieces have been published in The Washington Post and The Virginian Pilot. He is currently the 2024 Intern for Coastal Virginia Business Magazine, publishing features on regional business development. After college, he sees a future in print journalism and academia.
