ODU Student
My name is Benjamin Austin Draper, I am 23 years old and am a junior at Old Dominion University. I transferred to ODU in 2021 from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX but lost my freshman year worth of credits cause of diff state education systems (I had to restart basically). I am a very introverted being who is learning to coming back out of his shell again and have been dealing with depression for about 7 years now. Sports is everything to me and has been since I was introduced to it at 4 years old. I'm pursuing a career in Sports media with hopes of landing a role for a professional sports team or big sports network in broadcasting/reporting/journalism. I am working 3 diff student jobs (WODU, Mace & Crown, ODU Esports) as well as my upcoming internship for the Norfolk Admirals. I grew up in Roanoke, VA before moving to South TX at the age of 12 and returned home in 2020 when my mother got transferred to D.C. so Ive been around several times. I hope this helps!
