Justice Menzel is a sophomore English major at Old Dominion University. A lifelong creative, he found a passion in high school for journalism, fiction writing, and filmmaking. After beginning his tenure at ODU, he received a position as Assistant News Editor at the Mace & Crown. After a semester as News Editor, he was elected Editor in Chief in early 2023. He directed a feature documentary, "Melting Point," on misogyny and radicalization, which received festival accolades and distinction. His opinion pieces have been published in The Washington Post and The Virginian Pilot. He is currently the 2024 Intern for Coastal Virginia Business Magazine, publishing features on regional business development. After college, he sees a future in print journalism and academia.
