Storyteller
Alana Zeilander is a perseverant and passionate storyteller eager to use her skills to elevate diverse voices and promote women in leadership throughout her career. She graduated from UMass Amherst in 2023 where she studied journalism, PR and business. She is currently a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the networking group Tomorrow’s Women TODAY.
During Alana’s time at college, she founded the first-ever Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter as President and was involved in founding and leading the previously known UMass PR Club since her freshman year, setting precedents that ensured the organization's success. She was also an active member of CHAARG, a national fitness organization that empowers women to take up space in male-dominated and Tomorrow's Women TODAY while having PR internships at The Castle Group and Golden Thread Agency as well as other leadership roles throughout her time at UMass.
