DJ Mara is a Worcester, MA native in his first year studying political communication at Emerson College in Boston. He has worked on several political campaigns, ranging from managing local school committee races to working as a fellow on a U.S. Senate campaign. DJ has particular interest in mobilizing and increasing voter turnout, especially in local elections. When not on the campaign trail, DJ can be seen writing articles for The Berkeley Beacon, Emerson's school newspaper, or further exploring his hobby for photography throughout Boston.
