Putting Community First

When it comes to Zee Cherry, nothing is more important than serving the community. As aspiring juror, Zee comes onto the Tansson Talks show to speak about her desire to serve the community and the importance it carries.

  • Brandon K. Hedgepeth is a lifelong learner, communicator, and graduate student who has been a content creator since May 2016. He serves as the host and producer of Tansson Talks show.
  • Zee Cherry is a student at Old Dominion University, double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology. A stellar student, she broke barriers as the Student Government Association President at Virginia Peninsula Community College in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Zee Cherry

Born and raised in Harlem, NY, Zee found her way to Hampton Roads, VA. She later broke many barriers including, becoming the First Black-African American Female Student Government Assocation President and the Second after 30 years! Prior to Graduating she was involved in many activities and organizations at all campus attached to Virginia Peninsula Community College. She has been a stellar student, role model and an awesome peer! Now she's adjusting to college life at Old Dominion University double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
